Orientations are intended for dogs who are new to swimming or dock diving. It is a 45 minute hands on session where we explore your dog’s toy drive, swimming skills and confidence.
Only one dog may participate in an orientation at a time

Safety checks are intended for dogs who have experience swimming at other facilities with above-ground pools with ramp entry into the pool (K9Cations, Jasper’s, CRCG) OR dogs who have already started competing in NADD or Dock Dogs or similar organizations.
If you sign up for a safety check and your dog has not grasped swimming by choice in our style pool, you will be asked to complete an orientation.
Please do not book a safety check simply because your dog has been swimming in a regular pool, lake or river before.

First Time Canine Guests must complete either an orientation OR safety check BEFORE purchasing a pass or booking private pool time.

Upon arrival, you will meet with one of our trainers, who will help you and your dog get acquainted with our facility. Each orientation is built and scheduled with individual dogs’ safety in mind. Our trainer will be physically in the water to help your dog safely navigate the dock and will happily answer any questions you may have as the lesson progresses.
Please understand that not every dog passes their first, or sometimes even second, orientation lesson- that’s okay! Every dog is different, and we are happy to work with their needs and yours.

-Leash (no loose dogs outside the dock area)
-Your dog’s favorite floating Toy (ball, bumper, wubba)
-Towel(s) for you and your dog(s)
-Water for you and your dog(s)
-Hat and Sunscreen for you
-Clothes you can get wet in and waterproof shoes (rain boots, crocs, hiking sandals)
-A dry change of clothes can be helpful
-Car crate or kennel-especially if you have more than one dog
NOTE: Canine life vests and various toys are available for use free of charge

Head over to our appointments page and select your desired appointment type (Orientation or Safety Check). Once selected, a calendar will appear with available days and times! Choose what works for you, and save the date!

620 State Highway 52, Erie.
We highly recommend that you try to approach from the west because it can be scary to slow down or stop traffic on Highway 52 in order to make a left turn into our driveway.
We are between CR1 and CR3 on the south side of Highway 52.
The driveway is marked with a 6ft tall sign with our logo on it.
STAY RIGHT when the driveway immediately forks and DRIVE SLOWLY. Max of 10 mph!
Please park in the designated area located on your right hand side after you pass the shed. The designated parking area is marked with blue GSD parking signs.
Plan to arrive no more than 3 minutes early to potty your dogs before your appointment. If you are earlier than 3 minutes before your booked appointment slot, we ask that you park at the base of the driveway to avoid distracting the dog on the dock ahead of you.

Orientation
Orientations are $65 and 45 minutes in length.
One dog per orientation. Exceptions may be made, by special request only, if you have two dogs and both dogs are strong and confident swimmers.

Lessons
Lessons are $65 and 45 minutes in length.
Lessons are intended for dogs who need a tad more assistance and time confidence building before being able to use the facility unassisted.
Lessons can also be used to encourage your dog to jump off the dock, learn tips and tricks to catch the toy, and to improve distance and form.
Lessons can also be used simply to have another set of hands to retrieve toys, utilize the air retrieve rig, or anything else you may need assistance with.

Private Pool Time: 1/2 Hour
Half Hour Private Pool time is $35.
Private pool time is generally supervised but unassisted.
You may bring up to 2 dogs. Both dogs are allowed on the dock and in the pool at the same time as long as they can use the space safely and peacefully.
Please note: A 1/2 hour time slot is often insufficient if you have 2 dogs that require rotating.

Private Pool Time: 1 Hour
One Hour Private Pool time is $55.
Private pool time is generally supervised but unassisted.
You may bring up to 2 dogs. Both dogs are allowed on the dock and in the pool at the same time as long as they can use the space safely and peacefully.
Please note: An hour time slot is great if you have a high energy dog with lots of stamina or have two dogs that require rotating in and out of a car kennel. You must provide your dog(s) a potty break halfway through your hour to help prevent accidents on the dock.
2026 Packages
Weather permitting, the 2026 Season is expected to be approximately 20 weeks long (early May-end of Sept).
Your dog(s) must have passed Orientation OR completed a safety check before being eligible to purchase a season pass.
Passes may be used for up to three dogs who live in the same household. Guest passes for season pass holders are $20 per session.
Packages expire at the end of the season. No refunds will be given for unused sessions.
Please note that the term “Jr.” in the packages below refers to 30-minute pool rentals.

The Silver Season Pass is great for families who will be on vacation for big chunks of the season and for dog(s) who attend and pass Orientation late during the 2026 season.

This pass works on both 30 minute or 60 minute sessions.
All dogs in one household may use 1 pass.

You may bring a guest dog that does not live in your home for an additional $20 per session.
